No, I think nobody has actually shot any of it, in spite of all the brags of expertise on this board!
I shot some of the EXR, but it looked like crap, and I only had two rolls, so I just tossed it.
I may be getting some when I order my next batch of K-40 next week, for my next shoot.
I may shoot some of it, under the same lighting conditions, just to see how it looks. (I'm trying to get some free! I'll let you know if it works!).
So I'll keep everyone posted. I'll certainly find out if there are any freakin notches!
(Notches? We don't need no stinkin' notches!)

:-) i actually did shoot two rolls of it. i seem to remember that the camera rated it at 160, but i'm not sure since i always use my incident light meter anyway.

    1. you don't
    2. yes

if you can't set the camera manually, and you still want to use the built in meter, find out what your camera's default setting is (usually 160 i believe), and you'll know how many stops to open up or stop down for a certain stock.

    Thanks, Matt.

A guy I know who works on commercials just gave me -- literally handed me -- a bag full of Pro 8mm carts. I must have about 50 -- all sitting in my closet useless because I can't manually set the camera's speed -- also I don't/can't afford to RANK everything I shoot. Anyone want to trade for Plus-X and Kodachrome?

If the Pro 8mm carts aren't notched how do you set the film's ASA if you can't do it manually?
Or are there only a few top of the line cameras that allow you to set the film's speed?
